Denver on Your Doorstep

Tucked away east of Capitol Hill, the Cheesman Park neighborhood is the perfect peaceful retreat in urban Denver. The neighborhood is centered around an eighty-acre park that features expansive lawns, shady jogging trails, and a neoclassical pavilion. Within the park is the beautiful Denver Botanic Garden which contains an amphitheater for summer concerts.
Looking for great spots to eat? Shells and Sauce is a neighborhood favorite that offers delicious Italian cuisine while Pete’s Kitchen is a Denver institution for American fare and late-night eats. Follow up dinner with a sweet treat at Liks Ice Cream just down the street.
Thump Coffee may be an Oregon import, but we love the community vibe and laptop- and phone-free couch area in the back so much we’ll overlook that it’s not homegrown. Another Portland transplant, Voodoo Doughnut, is known for delicious fried balls of dough in unexpected flavors (you can get a doughnut topped with bacon or Froot Loops).
